Anny`s Dairy Bar in New Westminster

It's a very good local business. It offers common fast food but also works to give it a Quebecois flair. Such as poutine with a popular curd from Quebec. Also genuine Quebecois maple syrup with their maple cones. One of my favorite items is their french fries which remind me of the chip trucks of Winnipeg.NOTE: This is a seasonal business that closes during the winter months.

This place is all about good food if you are looking for anything else. Go some place else. My kids love this place and my wallet thanks me. If you are looking for genuine hard working canadian local experience this is it.

Everything I imagined it to be! The service is friendly and quick. I always get extra cheese, and it's worth it. They also sell cheese curds by weight, along with other ingredients if you'd like to make your own meals at home. The soft serve is thick and creamy ....can't go wrong here!

Authentic Montreal style food. Love the poutine and hot dogs. Make sure to get cabbage on the dog. I wouldn't have thought it would be good but it's delicious.

Awesome place. Fantastic poutine (some of the tastiest gravy I've ever had), very good "smashed" style burgers, and the maple twist soft serve was delicious. Reasonable prices, and the owner and employees were lovely.

this place is amazing! me and my bf were looking for a poutine place close by to his place and we decided to give this place a try especially with the great reviews and we weren't disappointed. The poutine was freshly made, pipping hot with gravy that wasn't too salty but full flavoured accompanied with fresh cheese curds! It was amazing! the soft serve was also great. Very rich and milky with delicious swirls of maple. The smoked meat sandwich was good but I found the bread to be too soft and soggy but the meat texture was great! Overall a great place to check out. Metered parking only.

One of the best poutine I have ever had. Store front does not look very impressive but the food is definitely top notch. Gravy was not too salty which I like. Also has a hot dog special for $1.75 which is also a great deal

On your first visit to Anny’s, must-haves are poutine and maple twist cones. The steamies, sandwiches and burgers are simple and delicious and will bring out the kid in you. You’ll fall in love with this shop and find yourself craving the food time and time again.

Love this place!! The Québecois owner is super kind and friendly, and everything is always fresh. Difficult to find a place like this these days.

Great spot I just happened to walk by. Cute mural depicting living out east. Their poutine was delicious and they got it right! St. Hubert gravy and house cut fries with proper cheese curd. Didn't try the ice cream but I'll be back that's for sure!

Took my daughters here today. They loved it. Hot dog was soft and small - easy enough for my 4 year old to eat. Poutine was so good - we got the regular one.Owner was really kind. We will definitely be back one day when my wife isn’t working - she’s jealous of the photos I’ve sent her!

After living in New West for the majority of my life, I finally went to Anny's to see what everyone was ranting raving about, especially when it came to the poutine...Ordered a smoked meat poutine with a hot dog. Both were very delicious at a decent price. Great comfort food! Would definitely have again! The indoor dining area, however, could use some new furniture. For this reason, I gave 4 stars.

I love this place for the most part. Their poutine is as good as in Quebec. The cheese curds is the best tasting outside of Quebec but the pieces are kinda small.. One thing they need to improve on is their technology. Their machine is not compatible with our debit card so we always have to go get cash to pay. It would be nice to tap for payment as well. But Anny's is still our go-to for poutine regardless.

I love this place! The poutine is some of the most delicious and authentic I've ever had and the smoked meat is to die for. The staff is on another level of kindness and truly make it a joy to come into the restaurant. Highly recommended.

Had a steamed dog and a regular poutine. Simple but perfect. We are lucky to have a super casual place like this in New West. Talked to a couple that goes there regularly. Old fashioned maple soft ice cream was their favourite. The burgers and Montreal beef looked good. Friendly service. Definitely going back soon. Great prices. Forget Mc D’s, Wendy’s, Burger Puke etc.

Delicious montreal style "Casse-Croûte"!! the prices are very reasonable, and for the poutine they use the authentic St-Hubert Bbq poutine sauce. the poutine was delicious,not vrry much cheese,but the fact that they had delicious quebec cheese curds well made up for that factthey also sell the St-Hubert sauce cans for you to make a poutine at home,and they have authentic 100% moist "squick-squick" cheese curds!!All the ingredients and prices are authentic,its the best Montreal style lunch,i had in a long time!!100%recommend! bring a friend!!

Want to go to montreal to eat everything fattening and delicious but don't want to spend a fortune on air fair? Anny's will get you where you need to go. Amazing authentic food, great atmosphere and top notch service. To top it off, prices are reasonable somehow. Great place, highly recommend.FYI: they also sell cans of their gravy and maple syrup ;)

Unpretentious surroundings. Remarkable soft serve ice cream swirled with maple syrup. Good, straightforward poutine. Fun, candy bar for banana splits. Anny is a lovely person. Warning: no public washroom, metered parking on street. No parking lot.

The Big James burger is the best burger in town at a great price. For me the burger is second only to the Hilltop burger in Langley overall, but the Big James is much less expensive and it’s local. The ice cream is great - super rich - and the hotdogs are perfect.Anny herself is amazing. She often operates the whole shop on her own and very quickly gets to know her customers and their orders. It’s a small shop and has no washroom for customers but I imagine this helps to keep the prices low.This is one of the real gems in New Westminster.

Solid Montreal-style dishes. Everything made to order, hot and fresh.Tried the large poutine with Montreal smoked meat. The cheese curds are wicked good and can be bought for home too.The James deluxe burger is made with fresh meat, bacon, cheese, all the toppings.The soft serve is really creamy, smooth and huuuge for a medium size. Lots of French speaking individuals come so it’s got a nice feel to it.
